Global Warming!!!

Around 40% of the worlds population rely on water sources fed by glaciers. These water sources also irrigate many rich and fertile lands.The irony is, these glaciers are disappearing and retreating at a very fast pace.
What will happen to this 40% of the world population if these glaciers would disappear completely? Somebody said, if there would be a third world war, it would be fought for controlling water resources. Is this prediction soon going to be a reality?

Global Warming!!!

Global warming has been the hot topic for debates for the past 2-3 decades or so. Scientists have been blaming the climate changes to Global warming which they largely describe as man-made. Whereas another faction of intellectuals debate that there is nothing to be alarmed about. Earth has been cooling and then heating up for centuries ever since it came into existence. But yes we need to take care of our environment.

Whatever may be the actual factual truth, we all are feeling a definite climatic change. Countries are being hit by cyclones and typhoons of the scale never recorded before resulting in large scale loss of human lives and properties.

Can we do something to stop this??? Or is it too late..............
